The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals designed specially for starving children, and FMSC ships the meals to our partners in more than 60 countries around the world. Each meal costs only 17 cents to produce. In 2008, FMSC sent 73.6 million meals around the world thanks to the work of 300,000 volunteers. FMSC has four permanent packing sites, as well as an off-site packing program.
