About Pillars, formed in 2006 by the merger of Community Care Options and The Pillars Community Services, is a new social service agency with a history that goes back nearly 80 years. Since 1928 (the founding of our Fillmore Center for Human Services) our goal has been to provide services of the highest quality. We are client focused and community based. Bi-lingual and bi-cultural services are offered throughout our programs, all of which are offered on a sliding fee scale.

The Agency has offices and community centers in Berwyn, Hickory Hills, Hodgkins, LaGrange Park, Oak Park, Summit and Western Springs. Foxfire, a psycho-social program for adults with chronic mental illnesses, is located in Summit. In the next year we will provide services to more than 10,000 people from 37 communities in Chicago, Western Cook and Eastern DuPage counties.
