December 2009: Visual Enhancements and Functional Updates
In response to user feedback, Lumity made a number of small interface and functional adjustments to NPO.net. This included cleaning up the user/login options available in the sidebar, additional help notes/documentation for both candidates and employers, and some technical modifications that make the system run smoother for everyone. Lumity is always interested in your feedback, so please contact us with your ideas.
November 2009: New Posting Options Introduced
Lumity introduced 2 new posting options to give employers more power over their job listings:
- New single post options for agencies that only have one or two jobs to post yearly. This saves smaller agencies money over the standard subscription levels.
- Premium posting: NPO.net is a very active job board, attracting over 200,000 users per month. However, your jobs can be lost down the list fairly quickly. Lumity introduced the Premium Post option that allows employers to keep their job on top of other standard posts... getting your important job postings the attention they need.
November 2009: Resume Searching Introduced
Not finding the right people? Try searching NPO.net's database of resumes that job seekers have posted. If you find someone interesting, you can invite them to contact you with a click of a button. This feature is only available to organizations purchasing a one-year subscription.
September 14th, 2009: Re-launch of NPO.net
Lumity re-launches NPO.net with new features. Besides a new look and feel, users can now search by key word and category, with the ability to support agencies and job seekers across the entire state of Illinois. Additionally, job seekers can create accounts, and job applications are supported internal to NPO.net, making it faster and easier for both the job applicant and the hiring agency to manage the overall application process.
