The Outreach Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing health education and prevention programs that address the needs in the community.
The Outreach Program Coordinator manages and supervises staff including hiring, training, evaluating, and managing performance to meet departmental efficiency and performance measures.
Mandatory Job Qualifications
Bilingual – Fluent in English & Spanish
Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent of education and directly-related experience. (Medical background preferred)
3-5 years of experience in community organizing and development of health education programs
3-5 years of grants/budget management
Knowledge and/or ability to apply a variety of instructional techniques
Must be invested in the health outcomes of the community
Ability to collaborate and interact with a diverse group of health care professionals.
