Erikson Institute, a graduate school in child development located in downtown Chicago, is seeking to hire an Enrollment Events and Communications Manager. The position manages a broad range of communication and event planning activities for the offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Registration and Student Records, and Multicultural Student Affairs; serves as the primary enrollment contact for Erikson’s graduate certificate programs; and provides administrative support to the Dean of Enrollment Management.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the production and distribution of follow-up communication materials to prospective students.
Responds to inquiries from prospective students, identifies their programs of interest, and manages the inquiry follow-up communications process.
Manages the entry and updating of prospective student data in the student information system (SIS).
Serves as the departmental point person for inquiries about Erikson’s graduate certificate programs.
Receives and processes applications to Erikson’s graduate certificate programs.
Coordinates the admission process with designated faculty and program directors in the Infant Studies and Early Childhood Bilingual/ESL programs.
Plans, coordinates and implements all communications activities and logistics for prospective student admission open house events and information sessions.
Manages all prospective student campus/classroom visits.
Maintains advertising calendar and contacts, and manages the creation, approval and submission of recruitment advertising for print and online publications.
Maintains the annual recruitment travel calendar, coordinates registrations for recruitment conferences and graduate fairs, and makes travel arrangements as needed.
Plans, implements and evaluates a broad range of student events, including new student orientation, student recognition brunch, comprehensive exam orientation, multicultural student affairs events, and other events sponsored by Enrollment Management staff.
Serves on the Institute’s master’s commencement ceremony planning committee.
Manages inventory of recruitment materials by monitoring quantities and coordinating the process of reprinting or replenishing of marketing and enrollment collateral.
Assists the Dean of Enrollment Management with the annual budgeting process.

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
o Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
