Teach Chicago Turnarounds (TCT) is an initiative of the Chicago Public Schools, in partnership with the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL), to recruit high-quality teachers for the Turnaround Schools in Chicago. Schools selected for the "turnaround" model are reopened the following academic year with a new administration, faculty, staff and curriculum.
All teachers and staff at OST and AUSL-managed Turnaround Schools are employees of the Chicago Public Schools, hired by the OST or AUSL school leadership team, and paid on the salary schedule of the Chicago Teachers Union collective bargaining agreement.

Eligibility:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
· You must possess a Bachelor's degree (conferred by June 2010).
· Your undergraduate GPA must be 2.5 or higher.
· You must be fully eligible to work in the United States.
· You must meet the Illinois credentialing requirements for your desired subject area.*
*If you are an out-of-state credentialed teacher, please carefully review your state reciprocity requirements as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education (www.isbe.net) to ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements. All Chicago Public Schools teachers must also meet the NCLB definition of highly qualified.
