We are currently seeking a full time Child Welfare Supervisor to work 37.5 hours per week, including evening and weekend hours as needed, for our nonprofit social services / human services agency. The Child Welfare Supervisor will provide direct supervision to a team of child welfare specialists.
Job Responsibilities:
•Supervise CWS team
•Provide and coordinate a continuum of case management services for all levels of child welfare as mandated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services
•Attend and participate in Child and Family Team meetings
•Attend required juvenile court hearings and administrative case reviews
•Provide backup support for caseworkers as requested
•Transport clients as needed
•Work in collaboration with the LSSI management team, other foster care / adoption teams, juvenile court system and the Illinois Department of children and Family Services

Job Requirements
The qualified Child Welfare Supervisor must possess a Master's degree in social work or degree in related human services. The ideal Child Welfare Supervisor will also have:
•Three years of child welfare experience with CWEL, CERAP and SACWIS
•Valid Illinois driver's license with access to a reliable, insured vehicle
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Record of compliance with t he law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS
