Job Description:

We are currently seeking a full time Master's Child Welfare Specialist to work 37.5 hours per week for our nonprofit social services / human services agency. As a therapist, you will be:

  • Working with families involved in the DCFS foster care system
  • Duties include skills in assessment and diagnosis, treatment plan development and therapy with children, youth and family members with complex issues


 

Mandatory Job Qualifications

The qualified Master's Child Welfare Specialist must have a Master's degree in social work or related human services field. The ideal Master's Child Welfare Specialist will also:

  • Have a valid driver's license with access to a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Must pass fingerprint and criminal background check
  • Experience in child welfare and sexual abuse population
