Chicago area non-profit seeks an eager and focused individual with a strong sales ability to join our progressive team of caring staff in making a difference in the lives of those who seek a second chance in life.

This individual must be creative, tenacious, wildly efficient and mission-driven. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, understands how to massage his or her message based on the unique needs and demands of the customer, can articulate our participants’ value to a company’s bottom line in a compelling and articulate way, and will be responsible for the following:

• Placing participants into permanent employment
• Prospecting for new employment partners through cold calling or in-person
• Preparing/ presenting proposals to large and small companies to meet their hiring needs
• Stewarding an active network of hiring contacts using strong relationship-building skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two to five years of for-profit business experience, sales background strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic and business acumen with ability to excel in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Knowledgeable in current hiring trends and industry standards
• Ability to thrive in a team environment, meet/exceed projected goals and work with minimal supervision
• Possess an attitude that is driven by a focus on possibilities and not on limitations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred
