1) Coordinate volunteer in-home tutoring program for refugee youth
2) Work closely with refugee families living in Chicago suburbs to address the educational and social/emotional needs of the children
3) Develop relationships with suburban school districts to help address the needs of refugee students
4) Monitor refugee students’ academic progress
5) Assist with refugee youth afterschool program
6) Comply with monthly data entry and reporting requirements

Mandatory Job Qualifications
1) Experience working with children
2) Knowledge of and experience with the U.S. school system
3) Experience working with multi-ethnic groups
4) Computer literate
5) Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
6) Highly motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic
