Provide assessment, linkage and home & community-based services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and their families who are identified by the juvenile court system in Rolling Meadows and Skokie. Additionally, intervene with an array of intensive, community-based services to link youth and support his/her family with appropriate referrals/interventions with the goal of maintaining the child or adolescent at home/community.
Responsibilities will also include developing close working relationships with assigned judges, probation staff and detention center personnel as well as other mental health and social service providers throughout the north suburban communities.
Provide in-office individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and their families.
-Experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families including those with serious and persistent mental illness.
-Experience and interest in community-based work, requiring flexibility and teamwork.
-MSW or MA in social work or related field.
-Personal vehicle, valid Illinois driver's license, good driving record, and active vehicle insurance.
