Overview
The Senior Consultant- Educator Talent Management will coordinate, support and lead project teams dedicated to the development and implementation of a suite of tools and processes designed to improve educator effectiveness through rigorous teacher evaluation at the district and state levels.
The position’s primary office location is in Naperville.
This position will require up to 50% percent travel (local and national).

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate, support, and lead project teams dedicated to the development and implementation of a suite of tools and processes designed to improve educator effectiveness through rigorous teacher evaluation at the district and state levels
2. Manage client relationships by serving as a consultant and advisor to support data-driven decision making about school, district, and state improvement and reform efforts
3. Design and facilitate work sessions and professional development related to improving educator effectiveness with district and school staff (both internal and external meetings)
4. Monitor, coordinate, and provide work direction to assigned project staff and/or subcontractors, including review of their work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards, policies, and procedures
5. Support new business development efforts, including grant writing
6. Serve as personnel supervisor, as necessary, including providing guidance and coaching related to job tasks, performance, and career development
7. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. Teacher or Administrator certification/license and Master’s degree in an education-related program required; Doctorate or National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years teaching and/or school administration experience, demonstrating knowledge of effective teaching and leadership.
3. Experience in leadership, Development/Design or coordination with various aspects of the educator talent management continuum which includes; recruitment, hiring, induction & mentoring, professional development, performance management
4. Experience working in diverse and/or low performing schools and districts
5. Ability to work with a variety of educational stakeholders and audiences at the district and state levels
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including ability to provide guidance and feedback to staff
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to and facilitating various-sized groups
8. Ability to work well independently and as a member of a project team while prioritizing multiple objectives to meet project deadlines.
9. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and proficiency in navigating the Internet
10. Availability to travel locally and nationally
