Specific responsibilities will include: Website Design; HTML/CSS Coding; Internal/external eBlasts and external Ad mails; Create user experience that is intuitive and user friendly and easy to navigate through user interface research/development; Produce creative, eye-catching messaging, click-thrus to landing pages through Flash Banner Ads; Video Editing and posting to web; Advanced web updates of complex NLU web pages with OIT.

Mandatory Job Qualifications

The marketing department at NLU is seeking a web designer/front-end developer to join its robust in-house creative team. This position is responsible for HTML/CSS coding, internal/external e-blasts, user interface research/development, flash banner ads, and video editing & posting.

The ability to juggle many projects at once is key. Must be able to set priorities, manage time efficiently and interact with other members of the marketing department and external clients. Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) Final Cut Pro, Textmate and/or Coda or similar IDE (e.g. Dreamweaver), Subversion, CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript. Must have portfolio that demonstrates very strong creative design experience. A Bachelor's degree in multimedia/web design or a related field is required.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to use QuarkXpress and copywriting skills a definite plus. Experience with ColdFusion or similar server-side language, Microsoft Access and CommonSpot a plus as well.
