Bachelor’s degree required in a field that reinforces the skills needed for the position
At least three years experience in successful grant writing

Job Summary/
Overview:
As part of our grant writing team, the Grant Writer is responsible for the development, writing, and submission of government, foundation and corporate grant proposals and reports.
Responsibilities:
Conducts targeted research on the availability of private and government funds, including the identification of new funding sources consistent with CCHC’s existing and planned priorities.
Writes grant related letters of inquiry, applications, proposals, reports, and correspondence.
Assists in maintaining and implementing the grants calendar.
Collaborates with program staff in creating compelling proposals; works with finance staff in budget preparation.
Leads and manages the grant preparation and submission process.
Gathers and prepares all ancillary materials to accompany grants.
Maintains grant related documentation and database records.
Monitors trends and opportunities for grant development.
Assists in Development team projects as requested.
