Family Service of Glencoe seeks a self-motivated, dynamic, experienced professional to work a flexible 20-30 hr per week schedule to lead marketing and fundraising efforts for our small non-profit counseling services agency. In short, we are excited to recruit the right person to help the Executive Director and board to plan and execute a strategy for building the long-term financial support for the agency. This effort would include creating the marketing and communications materials, planning/implementing the annual fundraising efforts and planning/implementing a long-term fundraising plan. This is an opportunity to help build a legacy that strengthens the fabric of the community for the future.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Marketing and Communication
Annual Fundraising efforts
Long Term Fundraising efforts - planning a Centennial Campaign

Mandatory Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications

Minimum Bachelors Degree
5-7 years of development experience, including demonstrated success with major gifts,annual giving and foundation giving.
Independence and initiative with demonstrated ability to create and manage development plans, budgets and timelines.
Experience leading and coordinating a group to implement development activities

Desired Qualifications

Solid Computer Skills
Familiarity with the community
