Family Service of Glencoe seeks a self-motivated, dynamic, experienced professional to work a flexible 20-30 hr per week schedule to lead marketing and fundraising efforts for our small non-profit counseling services agency.  In short, we are excited to recruit the right person to help the Executive Director and board to plan and execute a strategy for building the long-term financial support for the agency.  This effort would include creating the marketing and communications materials, planning/implementing the annual fundraising efforts and planning/implementing a long-term fundraising plan.  This is an opportunity to help build a legacy that strengthens the fabric of the community for the future. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Marketing and Communication
  • Annual Fundraising efforts
  • Long Term Fundraising efforts - planning a Centennial Campaign

  • 5-7 years of development experience, including demonstrated success with major gifts,annual giving and foundation giving.
  • Independence and initiative with demonstrated ability to create and manage development plans, budgets and timelines.
  • Experience leading and coordinating a group to implement development activities
