Location: Evanston
The Milieu Monitor is a key staff member during the evenings and occasional overnights at Hilda’s Place Transitional Shelter for adult men and women in Evanston. The Milieu Monitor oversees the daily check-in of participants while managing the evening routine and structure of activities.
Hours for this part time position are 5:00 PM -10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 pm to 7:00 am as needed.
The successful candidate will have experience with people who are homeless, have mental illness, or abuse drugs and alcohol. Also, the Monitor must have a valid Illinois driver’s license, complete and pass a criminal background check, and have good writing and people skills.
