Description
Responsible for management of all client and case activities for TASC clients on caseload. Responsible for facilitating successful re-entry, stabilization in living environment, and legal source of income. This position requires considerable expertise in helping newly paroled individuals to make a successful transition back into their community despite numerous challenges.
Essential Functions:
Screening and Assessment
· Provide Orientation Services for incoming clients
· Comply with confidentiality regulations and seek appropriate consent from the client
· Use DSM to establish a diagnostic impression
· Apply ASAM criteria to determine most appropriate level of care for client
· Determine necessity of psychological screening through case consultation
· Complete clinical assessment process by obtaining information and interpreting that information from collateral sources of verification, which may include treatment and criminal records.
Qualifications
Minimally one of the following:
· Two years experience in a related field OR
· Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in related field
AND
· Current certification, CADC preferred, or ability to obtain CARS, CADC, or License/degree in categories that substitute for certification within state regulated time frames
· Acquire and maintain security clearance pursuant to IDOC regulations
